Cementing Paste, a thick and waterproof paste, is one of the most essential resources in ARK Survival Ascended, and it is used as mortar or to thicken other substances and craft items, such as Industrial Grills, Cannons, and more. However, it is not easy to come by, and you may need to use different methods to obtain it, and we have explained them below.
How to Get Cementing Paste in Ark Survival Ascended
Table of Contents
Giant Beaver Dams
This is the easiest and most abundant way to farm Cementing paste. You can find Giant Beaver Dams near lakes and rivers around the Island. They contain large quantities of Cementing Paste and other resources like Wood, Silica Pearls, and Rare Flowers. However, be careful when looting them, as the Castoroides that build them will attack you if they see you stealing their stuff.
Beelzebufo
You can find Beelzebufo in the Swamp biome of the Island, and its unique ability is to turn insects into Cementing Paste when it eats them. You can tame this creature, use it to hunt down other insects, and collect the Cementing Paste from its inventory. This is one of the fastest ways to farm Cementing Paste in the game.
Chitin, Keratin, or Shell Fragments
This method will let you make Cementing Paste yourself by putting together four pieces of Chitin, Shell, or Keratin Fragments with eight pieces of Stone. You can get Chitin and Keratin by killing certain dinosaurs and mammals, and Shell Fragments can be farmed by hunting Megachelon. This method requires more resources and time than farming, but it can be helpful if you have a lot of spare materials.
